Need rain

Trails are super dry, been doing lots of water runs. We've been busy piling dirt for a step up but its too dry to do any shaping. Riding pretty much every evening now and got a new camera on the weekend will be good when I figure out how to use it!

Ash tested this hip on the new line, seemed to work pretty well, line is nearly done just waiting for some rain to finish it off .

New lip

Was nice and wet up the trails on Tuesday so I spent the day shaping this lip. Have been digging from a different place to usual and the dirts a bit more silty, its super easy to shape and doesn't stick to the spade but Im not sure how strong it will be.

Nothing much going on at the trails recently, barely been up in the last few weeks. Had a good ride on Friday though. Pic of Geoff on the 9th.

Council stuff is moving along slowly, at the moment it looks like we're getting a week with a digger and dumper, some time in June.

Since this pic was taken we've shifted a few tons of dirt from the inside of the 2nd berm, going to dig the trail into the ground and have a step up hip.

New lines coming on good, just got to do the shaping next time it rains.

And in other news, some of the locals went down Portreath on the weekend for the 1st round of King Of Dirt, congrats to Adam for coming second. And wish a speedy recovery to Ash who broke some ribs, and of course to Pace.
